About Uplands nation

About the nation

Uplands nation is a medium-sized nation with a lot of joy and activity. We work hard to make the nation house and our fantastic garden a meeting place open to everyone. The relaxed and familiar atmosphere is Uplands nation’s greatest pride.

Amenities we offer include Svantes källare, a pub with a wide range of beers open in the evenings, Ebbas café during the day serving fika and lunch, a library with course literature in various subjects. Among our activities are our own brass orchestra, Wijkmanska Blecket, quite unlike any other, our spex group which does improvisational theatre, the culture committee which animates all sorts of culture-related activities such as theatre and museum visits, and our sports association.

The nation is defined by its members, who decide on the nation’s statutes and regulations.
